LEDGER STORIES

Terms of Use

Last updated: [LAUNCH DATE]

These terms cover countityourself.com and the Ledger Stories app, run by [YOUR NAME OR BUSINESS NAME] in Alberta, Canada ("we", "us"). By using Ledger Stories you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The free app

The story videos, daily devotionals, the King James Bible and your ledger of days are free. You can use them without an account. Creating an account is free and lets your progress sync across devices.

Gold membership

Our content

The King James Version is in the public domain. Our videos, devotionals, podcasts, lesson plans, worksheets, artwork, design and other materials belong to us. You're welcome to:

Please don't resell our materials, re-upload our videos, or post Gold materials publicly.

Your account

Keep access to your email account secure, since that's how you sign in. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Notes you write are yours. We only use them to show them back to you.

Fair use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape it in bulk, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Accuracy

We check every verse and count against the King James text before publishing, and we fix mistakes when we find them. If you spot one, please tell us. Ledger Stories is a study and devotional aid. It isn't a substitute for your own reading of the scriptures.

No warranty, and limits

Ledger Stories is provided "as is." We work to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Ending things

You can stop using Ledger Stories and delete your account at any time from the app. We may end the service or an account with reasonable notice, and if we ever shut Gold down we'll refund any unused paid time.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and post a note in the app.
